Gangotri – Yamunotri Dham are the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindu devotees. Without the darshan of these two prominent temples, your sacred Char Dham Yatra is incomplete. Yamunotri is the first Dam in the journey of Char Dham Yatra. It is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna which is also one of the most sacred rivers for Hindus. A short trek from Janki Chatti will lead you to take the divine blessings of Goddess Yamuna.

On the other hand, Gangotri Temple is located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. It is the second shrine in the journey of Pious Char Dham Yatra. Gangotri Temple was built by a Nepalese King Amar Singh Thapa and the original source of river Ganga is Gaumukh at Gangotri Glacier. It is the most sacred river for Hindu Devotees.

This 4N/5D Gangotri – Yamunotri Yatra Package 2024 expedition is so meticulously designed that at the end of the journey you’ll be definitely leaving with a surreal experience and unforgettable memories. This whole excursion will commence from Haridwar – ‘The Gateway to God’, from where the journey will lead you to your destinations via Dehradun and Mussoorie.

Do Dham Yatra Itinerary

In short – We have included every little detail, comfort & charge that you will encounter on your DO Dham yatra. Therefore, by taking a one-time wholesome charge, you enroll yourself on this journey of a lifetime.

Day 1: Haridwar - Barkot

Start journey to Barkot, located on the foot of Yamunotri. Barkot is known for its scenic beauty and offers panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains of Bandarpuch and other beautiful mountain peaks of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check-in to your camp in Barkot. Evening free time for relaxation and restore your energy as we will head towards Yamunotri next Day. Dinner will be served after which you will be in the camp for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Barkot- Yamunotri - Barkot

After having breakfast, we will drive to Janki Chatti. On the arrival, we will straight away start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. After the darshan at the temple, trek down to Janki Chatti where your driver awaits to take you back to your hotel in Barkot for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot - Maneri ( Uttarkashi )

On day 3, after the scrumptious breakfast, we will undergo a 4-hour journey to Uttarkashi. Once you entered in Uttarkashi, you will be directly taken to your hotel where you will be free for rest of the day for your own time. However, you can offer your prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple in the evening.

Day4:- Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi

Our day 4 will start a bit early as compared to other days. After having the breakfast in the early morning, we will start our 4-hour drive to Gangotri via Harsil. On reaching, you will be taken to the Gangotri Temple to offer your prayers. After that, you willl be driven back to your hotel in Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day5:-Uttarkashi - Haridwar

Like every day, your last day will also start with a delicious breakfast. Thereafter, you’ll be driven back your onward destination Haridwar where we will sum-up our expedition on a good note and with many great memories to cherish for a long time.

Expenses made towards any new inclusion in the itinerary (in the form of newly added sightseeing destination) not mentioned previously in the original itinerary list will bechargeable on actual basis.
All kinds of expenses that arise because of a natural calamity (in the form of weather, government restrictions, strikes, agitations, political disturbances of other nature, etc). These expenses will be borne by the customer.
